Scott class Assembly

On Tuesday it was Scott class's assembly we talked about kiwiana. Kiwiana is the culture for NZ people.In Taihape they have a special  gumboot day and on the gumboot day,they do a gumboot toss and here is our assembly photos.

Gymnastics Week 3

Hey guys to we had another gymnastics secession and to we learnt how to do land the way you land is knees bent and arms out like a motor bike.Here is a photo of a beat board,we needed to jump off it and land on your motor bike.We need to land properly so you don't hurt your knees,your back and so you don't fall and break your nose.

Yesterday  we learned how to play chess.Chess was made in India by a lazy king that loved to have war.But he didn't really want to have war so he told his servant to make him a war game and that is why chess was made.Also here is a photo from chess.

Today we had hockey and we learned how to control the ball and also we learned that if you are right handed your left hand has to on the top and your right hand has to be on the bottom.

Spelling this week

This week I have been practicing my spelling and I worked on it by practicing it every day when I go home.And I also used them as riddles for my brothers and sisters to see if they could understand.

Gymnastics

Today in Scott Class did gymnastics  and we learnt some shapes.The shapes we learned are called Tuck shape, L shape, front support, rear support and landing.Here some photos of gymnastics.
