The Boat To Rotoroa Island

Hey guys this is a writing of what I did when I was in the boat to Rotoroa Island.

When we were in the city we waited for the ferry to come, I think it took 20 minutes. When finally got on the boat it was amazing because there was a shoe cleaner that had to clean our shoes it was like some brooms that you had to rub your shoe against. On the boat I could see lots and lots of barnacles on the pier it looked disgusting and horrifying. The boat started to move we were all excited but as time went by I got really bored because the boat ride was really long and there was nothing to do except for playing some games but I didn’t want to play any games so I justed looked out the window. Also the boat smelt like coffee, I didn’t really like the smell because to me it smelt disgusting. When we were finally there I was so excited to get of the boat because it was really boring because  the people on my table was just talking to each other and I just wanted to look out the window.

Swimming Week 2

Hey guys today I went swimming,when we went swimming it was really cool,we learnt to do a streamline it is when you put your arms straight up then put your arms behind your ears and squash your head.Here are some photos of our swimming.

Today I am with Vitaraag and he is a year 2 and I am teaching some thing about the chromebook.

Toolkits Reflection

Hey guys  we had a Toolkit it was really cool.My first Toolkit was Scratch,Scratch is when you can make things like games,music and cartoons.My second Toolkit was Prezi,Prezi is like a presentation but it's easier to get videos and photos.My last Toolkit was photo editor, photo editor is when you can take out photo boomers,and if there is something you don't want in the photo you can take it out easily.

Learning Conversation

Hey guys last night I had a learning conversation.A learning conversation is when your parents come along and talk about your learning but last night I had to do most of the talking.I used a presentation to share my learning,here is my presentation.

Olympic Visitor

Hey guys today a visitor came and he was in the Olympics and his name is Andrew Nicholson he cycled the whole world in 123 days and that is the new world record.The world record before that was 125 but it was finally beaten by Andrew.Also he cycled the world because his friend was dying from cancer.So he found a website and it was about curing cancer but they didn't have enough money .so he cycled the world.So that why he did it.Did you know he was also a speed skater but he came 4th but it was okay because he tried his best..And now some photos.

Zirka Circus

Hey guys today some people from the Zirka Circus came to our school for sneak peek for what they do in there shows.It was really cool because they did stuff that I can't do.Here are the photos.

Week 1 Dance

Hi,today we had a dance lesson,at the dance lesson we learned to make a choreography.Choreograph means making up new dance moves.For a warm up dance we did the hokey pokey dance it was really fun.Also we all performed,we all had different movements but some were the same,and for me it was hard and easy and at the same because I was nervous. Hockey Week 8

Today we learnt to work as a team and use all the skills we had learned to use in a game.We had a game today and my team lost but it didn't matter because it was just a game.The reason we lost because there was a lot of people who were good.I think that Roman it the best but does not share the ball.Here are some photos.

Gymnastics Week 7

Hi today was another day for gymnastics and today focus was swing.It was really cool and the best part was when we jumped off the beat board on to a big high jump mat everyone loved it.And here are some photos of our gymnastics session.

Mathematical mum

Come on kid time to go shopping:said mum,nooo groaned the kids,come on kids let's go said mathematical mum.Okay Adam if I had 6  juices for your lunches how many would be left by friday:said mum, none so we need 5 packs so there would be 3 more left over for monday:said Adam.Great Adam,Bob if the bananas are 3 dollars for 5 bananas how many bananas would we have for 15 dollars,mum that's to hard:said Bob.Just do it:said mum.. Okay we would have 25 bananas:said Bob.Amazing now go get the bananas:said mum.Mark if the cheese are $5:20 cents how much will it cost for 3 cheeses:said mum.What that's just too hard why can’t Adam or Bob do that.no:said mum you need to do it they all ready got their turn so now it’s your turn.Okay,hmm if we get 3 cheese for $5:20 how much would it be.For 2 cheese it will cost $10:40 so $10:40 + $5:20 = $15:60.Good Mark:said mum now we can go home. Yay!! Said the kids we can finally go home.

Week 5 Gymnastics

Hi guys this weeks focus is spring and not the season spring the jumping springs.Also this week we did bigger jumps and more half turn jumps we even jumped off the beat board.Here are some photos of our gymnastics secession.

Hockey week 5

This week we had hockey again and this week we learned to keep our hockey stick on the ground.I needed to learned that so bad because I got sent off two time because I lift my stick up to high.And no one got a goal.And we did boys vs girls but how did no one get a score there were 16 girls vs 11 boys.

On Tuesday it was Scott class's assembly we talked about kiwiana. Kiwiana is the culture for NZ people.In Taihape they have a special  gumboot day and on the gumboot day,they do a gumboot toss and here is our assembly photos.
